Personal one-to-one coaching

Either in person or online

Stage 1: Online or face-to-face taster session
(30 – 45 minutes)

This free initial session is vital to establish if you and I are a good fit for each other. To determine compatibility, I ask a series of questions to find out:

  • Why you want a coach
  • What you need help with
  • What your goals are

Coaching is a two-way street, and honesty and transparency are key. I make it clear during the taster session whether I believe I can help you achieve your goals. I also set out the level of commitment you would need to make. If we both believe we are compatible, we move onto stage two.

“I always look for the good in any situation. I want to help others do the same.”

I see opportunities where others see doubt.”

Stage 2: Bespoke coaching package

Everyone is different, and every coaching package is bespoke. A one size fits all approach is most definitely not on the agenda!

During Stage 2, we focus on the importance of a positive mindset. Through [what do you actually do here? Show them images, videos, graphs? Offer them evidence to show the power of thoughts?] I explain how understanding the power of our thoughts is key, as what we think has a huge – and often underestimated – impact on our lives.

We then work together to look in detail at each area of your life. I use a range of psychological tools here, such as the Wheel of Life, to give you an understanding of which areas you are most unhappy with, what you want from each area and crucially, set goals to achieve them. Acknowledge they are struggling and agree to take action

Stage 3: Accountability: the coaching contract

Accountability is key to achieving goals. My coaching contracts range from three, six or twelve months, depending on the client’s circumstances, goals and budget. We agree to get together – online or in person – for one-hour coaching sessions weekly, fortnightly or monthly. At each session we revisit goals and actions to achieve them.

Stage 4: Maintenance

After the end of the contracted term, clients decide if they want to continue with further coaching sessions without being tied into a formal contract.  By this stage, many clients have built up enough momentum and found their rhythm with positive actions that they choose to go it alone. For others, the risk of returning to old thought and behaviour patterns is still present, so we agree to continue with regular or ad hoc coaching to keep them on track.

“With the right mindset, we can all flip the script.”

Corporate group coaching

Need a bit more detail and clarity on this. May be break down into steps as above?

For corporate companies looking to either restructure their teams or encourage team members to work better together, my NLP Practitioner training and I3 Profiling services are highly effective as they help individuals understand their particular strengths and areas for improvement. The innovative i3 profiling tool develops self-awareness of nature-nurture tendencies and helps individuals gain a greater understanding of themselves. The coaching – which can be tailored to individuals or teams – gives employers a fresh perspective on their employees and how to get the best from their workforce whilst also understanding individual employee’s needs. One-to-one coaching with senior management and executives takes place over a set timescale with the option to progress to Offer 1: Personal one-to-one coaching for some or all employees.

“I’m passionate about how the mind works. Gaining control over our own thought means we can be the best version of ourselves.

My approach

This section needs work

Down to earth. Actionable plans. Give you the right support at the right time. And most importantly, you’ll be accountable. Make sure you’re ready to take ownership. Establish how you want to be coached. Direct and honest gets to the heart of the issue and delivers results. Happy to share my story. Triumph over adversity. Always think that things happen for a reason which may not be apparent at the time. Life throws us curve balls – it’s how you deal with it that counts. Get rid of negative self-talk. Rely on the feeling in the pit of your stomach. Recognise and manage your triggers. This is a process not a quick fix: think of a ladder that you go up and down. I’ll challenge you, professionally and personally.
